Schizobrachiella sanguinea (Norman, 1868)

Schizobrachiella sanguinea is a medium to large species of bryozoan. It can either form small mats or crusts that are quite common on the underside of stones and reach a diameter of several centimeters, or it can form a branched, three-dimensional structure which may exceed a size of 20 cm, depending on the habitat.
